Newly opened Lolita, (formerly That Little Italian Restaurant) in the Byram section of Greenwich offers great innovative Mexican cusine. Apparently word has gotten out that it is a great find so be prepared to find it jammed-packed but fun as can be on weekends. This Sunday, July 27, will mark their grand opening for Sunday Brunch offered from 11am-3pm, otherwise the restaurant is only open for dinner from Tuesday through Sunday evening from 6pm to 12midnight on weekdays and until 2am on weekends.

Lolita offers over 100 varieties of tequilla. Margaritas in a variety of flavors which are made fresh, abound. The bartender brings a rolling cart stocked with fresh-squeezed juices and all the fixings to mix at your table. The menu is reasonably-priced menu and offers a wide variety of South-of-the-Border selections.

Some noteworthy appetizers include lobster enchillada, queso fundido, and costillas de cafe. The fish and meat taco flavors are more than delicious, as are the ahi tuni, carnitas and carne asada.

The desserts like the grapefruit granita or fresh-spun cotton candy are light and fun.

Be sure to make a reservation if your party is six or more.
