Sponsored by the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich,
the NFL Alumni/CT Chapter and the Greenwich Old Timers.
8:30 – 9:00am registration
9:00 – 9:30am warm up and rules
9:30am competition starts
Boys & Girls ages 8-15 will compete separately.
All parents must sign a waiver form and show a birth certificate before the players can participate

JR United Way of Greenwich, Greenwich Police Department, Belray Capital and Golden Ticket Events are partnering up again to sponsor the annual Greenwich Wiffle Ball Tournament on Saturday, July 18, 2009.

The Greenwich Polo Club has generously donated the use of its field for the event. Proceeds will be set aside to fund future tournaments and wiffle activities under the aegis of the JR United Way Greenwich Wiffle Ball Fund.

Each team of four players will be made up of kids age 12 and older. Prizes will be awarded as follows:

1st place: $1,600; 2nd place $800; 3rd place, $400.

What: Community Ultimate Frisbee Tournament Fundraiser in Support of YNET
When: Saturday, May 23 (rain date Sunday, May 24)
11:00am – 3:00pm or until winner is decided
Where: Greenwich High School Athletic Fields
10 Hillside Road
Who:      Anyone of any age who loves having a great time for an important cause!
Teens and adults invited to play – All welcome as fans and supporters!
Why:     Teen Dating Violence is a major issue affecting our youth and YNet is doing something about it!
How:     Pick up registration forms in person at the YWCA or GHS Clark House or Student Activities or
go to http://www.ywca.org to download the necessary forms

All forms & fees must be turned in to the YWCA
or at GHS to Clark House, Attn: Ms. Wilson

ALL PLAYERS MUST FILL OUT THEIR OWN INDIVIDUAL
REGISTRAION FORM AND SUBMIT WITH FEE TO TEAM CAPTAIN

SOAP BOX CAR RACE

Sunday, September 14, 2008 – Greenwich Avenue (from Starbucks to Richards. RAIN OR SHINE. All Drivers must be on Greenwich Avenue (Starbucks) by 7:00am, Sunday September 14th. The VivaPop All American Soap Box Derby presented by Miller Motorcars to benefit the United Way of Greenwich has generated tremendous interest within the Greenwich community which in turn has given great exposure for sponsoring companies, the United Way of Greenwich and its agencies. The derby will feature twenty-four Super Stock cars in the co-ed Superstock division. The Super Stock division is designed for racers age 10-17 years old. Super Stock cars can accommodate a larger racer up to (approximately) 6’0″ tall and 150 pounds. For More information contact Greenwich Soap Box Derby
