AUDUBON GREENWICH invites you to bring your questions and concerns to a:
FORUM ON ENVIRONMENTAL PRIORITIES FOR CONNECTICUT’S GENERAL ASSEMBLY
Next WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16 from 8:00-9:30 AM
At GREENWICH TOWN HALL ~ Cone Room (2nd floor), 101 Field Point Road, Greenwich , CT 06830
With Panelists:
- L. Scott Frantz, State Senator (R-136)
- Livvy R. Floren, State Representative (R-149)
- Lile R. Gibbons, State Representative (R-150)
- Fred Camillo, State Representative (R-151)
- Sandy Breslin, Director for Government Affairs for Audubon Connecticut
Audubon invites people from Greenwich, Stamford, and New Canaan (especially those who live in Scott Frantz’s district) to our Legislative Forum on Wed., December 16. Who should attend? All constituents of the above legislators, from Greenwich, Stamford*, and New Canaan*, who care about the environment, including high school students, municipal decision makers, and community leaders.
The forum will open with brief statements from the panelists on Connecticut’s pressing environmental challenges, and how, in the state’s financially straightened circumstances, the 2010 legislative session (which runs Feb 3-May 7) can best address these. The forum will then open to questions from the floor — YOUR questions!
This is the only legislative forum in Greenwich devoted solely to environmental issues. Meanwhile, you can learn more about your legislators’ environmental records, from the CT League of Conservation Voters’ score card, at http://www.ctlcv.org.
Free admission - Registration is recommended. Call 203-869-5272 x239 or greenwich_center@audubon.org.
