Internet Smarts: Online Safety and Social Networking in a Changing World
Richard J. Colangelo, Jr., Senior Assistant State’s Attorney, will discuss tools and strategies for addressing your child’s use of popular social networking sites: Facebook, Twitter and My Space. Topics will include cyberbullying, on-line predators, “sexting”, and 24/7 cell phones. Learn about the consequences of on-line public socializing and the permanence of digital data. Learn how to monitor your child’s online activity, be on top of the latest internet issues, set limits, and teach them how to be savvy and safe on the Internet.
