10:00am – 4:00pm
The Woman’s Club of Greenwich is sponsoring a tour of four of Greenwich’s most fabulous homes. These homes were custom designed for their owners.

One home,  on the Driftway at Tod’s Point, was designed by a naval architect and has views of Long Island Sound from every room.

Another is located in mid-country Greenwich, it has the touch of an English cottage and is ideal for those who seek perfection and elegance, tour organizers said. Charles Moon, an interior designer, will be on the premises during the tour to answer questions.

The third home has a design  influenced by the Asian culture of its owners. Looking out from any vantage point indoors, one is surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors.

The fourth home, constructed with native stone and wood shingles, is located in the park-like setting on about four acres. Inside, elegance is the hallmark of this residence that exemplifies the dignity and grace found in so many Greenwich homes.

Cost is $75. Ticket holders should check in at The Woman’s Club, 89 Maple Ave., where a booklet including a map will be given, including directions to the homes and a brief description of each. Refreshments will be served to tour participants before they embark.

Money from the event will support a specially designed garden to benefit all residents, including those with Alzheimer’s disease at The Nathaniel Witherell nursing home.
