The Community Disaster Education curriculum for seniors is designed to give Greenwich residents peace of mind for unexpected local situations. These one-hour classes are free of charge to interested seniors and include a free Individual Starter Disaster Supplies Kit for each participant. Practical preparedness information is distributed, and situations such as power outages and winter storms are covered during class time. Information on the Swine Flu, H1N1 virus will be covered. Questions are encouraged to get the most out of the seminar. A light luncheon will be provided.
